Week 15-- December 5th-8th:
This week we continued to work on story elements. We read fairy tales and the children identified the characters, setting problems and solution in each story. We also began writing our own stories! The children are able to make their story about anything... we have a lot of stories about princesses, ninjas and dragons! The children dictated their stories and got the opportunity to act them out during circle time. After seeing their stories acted out, many children wanted to add to their story or change parts for it to make more sense. The children are so excited about the snow!!! We brought snow into the classroom this week to explore. We used spray bottles with paint to color the snow! We also painted with white paint and Q-tips to make snow pictures. We worked really hard creating snowmen. The children had to follow many steps... they traced three circles, cut them out, glued them together and then got to decorate them! *Important Dates* December 26th-January 1st: Winter Break-- No school **Reminders** Pre-Kindergarten Sick Policy: For the protection of all children attending Pre-Kindergarten, please do NOT send your child to school if they are sick, unable to play outdoors or are unable to participate in routine daily activities.
